St. George’s University

UK universities offer 5-year programmes, usual entry requirements grades AAA in GCE A-Levels or 36+ in International Baccalaureate (IB) with Chemistry being a mandatory subject. English language requirement GCSE/IGCSE grade B or IELTS 7. The majority of schools require UKCAT or BMAT. Application deadline 15 October, a year before entry.

Fees for international £30,000 on average

New medical schools have opened in recent years with a greater chance of admission and more flexible deadline than the long-established schools. It is even possible to enter some of these new medical schools with a foundation year:

— University of Central Lancashire. Fees £38,000

— Brighton and Sussex Medical School. Fees for international students £30,450. Read more

— University of Buckingham – Offers Sep and Jan entry. Fees £35,000 for UK and international students alike. Read more

— Queen Mary University of London, Malta campus. Fees £35,000 for UK, EU and international students. Read more

Ireland universities offer 5/6-year programmes with min 480 points in the Irish Leaving Certificate or equivalent international qualifications. The Irish 2.5 hours aptitude test HPAT is required. International fees are comparatively high, €50,000 on average. Medical schools in Ireland:

Bulgaria has a number of medical and dental schools that are taught in English. The courses enjoy global recognition, reasonably priced and admission is almost guaranteed if you meet the entry requirements. You need to have a school leaving certificate with minimum grade 65% in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English language. Poland has world class medical and dental schools that are reasonably priced for both EU and international students. Medical courses 6 years and dental courses 5 years. Tuition fees are on average $5,000 per year. Contact our team to apply

Grenada has St Georges Medical school established in 1976. The course is over 5 terms pre-clinical + 5 terms clinical with an average fee $30,000 per term. Students with good international academic background are assessed on an individual basis and have a good chance of gaining admission.
